This is a stem curriculum lesson that touches on science concepts of acids and bases and uses expects students to perform calculations from what they discover. The calculations students have to complete are aligned with middle grades math standards for decimals and calculations. There are specific objectives and assessments aligned with the standards. This plan has many opportunities to bring in more learning about acids and bases in an integration with science standards.
