4.    Professional Development Transcript

Print Wisdomwhere transcript (printer friendly version) for the blue folder.  The following sessions should be completed: New Teacher Orientation, NCTEP & NCEES, PowerTeacher, Classroom Management, Teacher Talks in Year 1 & 2, new SCOS/Common Core/Essential Standards, Instructional Technology (Haiku, Google for Educators, SchoolNet), Rigor Part 1 & Part 2 and any other content specific requirements ex. Balanced Literacy, MClass etc 


5.    All STATE Testing (PEARSON And/Or Praxis)

Have you completed and submitted all Testing Requirements to Melissa Talley?  If not, this is due under separate cover to Melissa Talley, as soon as score report is received.  


6.  Lateral Entry, Permit to Teach or Emergency Licensed Teachers (ONLY)

Have you completed college coursework and turned in documentation?  If not, this is due under separate cover to Melissa Talley, at the Central Office by May 15th.


Third Year Beginning Teachers must complete the State Testing & LEA Beginning Teacher Program Requirements in order for Granville County Public Schools to recommend completion to NCDPI.  Once this recommendation is submitted to NCDPI your license will convert from from initial to continuing. All requirements are documented in the BTSP Blue Folder and are on file for five years.
