1) Engaging with Resources - The WHAT:
#GoOpenNC has three main opportunities to interact with the resources on the platform.

Collect/Curate Resources and Collections | Each school will identify an OER team. HPS recommendation: a mix of each grade level or content area, principal, TLS and media coordinator. | Schools will be actively utilizing OER resources through PLCs, professional development, etc. |
Create/Upload Resources | Each OER Team will identify quality resources aligned to the curriculum in their school. | Each OER Team will determine the necessity of aligning the work of the school OER Team to the SIP. |
2) Engaging with Platform - The HOW:
#GoOpenNC has three main ways to participate on the platform

Share/Evaluate Resources | Through PLCs the TLS or principal will introduce the OER platform and help teachers navigate the system. | |
Participate in Professional Learning locally or statewide | We will have OER sessions at our annual curriculum conference and collaborative workdays. Media and TLS will help to lead OER. | |
Network and Collaborate with Other NC Educators | OER Teams will identify possible collaborative partners within the OER platform. |
3) Engaging the Educators - The WHO:
#GoOpenNC has opportunities for all educators to being engaging. Consider who would be your main early engagers in the next 6 months.
