1. Ms. Berry  bought 37 dozen donuts for all the teachers and staff at OLA. How many donuts did she buy?  If each dozen donuts costs $4, about how much money did she spend? 

2. Ellie is planning a party for 24 kids and 39 adults. The party rental store has round tables that seat 6 people each. How many tables does Ellie need to rent?

3. 223 girl scouts are going camping. Four girls can sleep in one tent. How many tents will they need?

4. Soccer lessons cost $9 per session, plus a one-time fee of $20. Philip went to 6 sessions. How much did he pay?

5.Pedro  went on a trip to different baseball stadiums over the summer. He traveled 789 miles to Chicago. He then left Chicago and traveled to Detroit, which is 283 miles. Once he left Detroit, he was tired and wanted to head back home to Charlotte.  If he traveled a total of 1,741 miles, how far is it from Detroit to Charlotte?

6. Our “Save our Planet” Club wants to walk around the neighborhood and pick up cans to recycle. Their goal is to collect 600 cans by the end of the year. After the first month, each of the three groups in the club collects 32 cans each. Each group collects this same amount, for the next 2 months. How many cans do they still need to collect?

7. On a trip to the zoo, Manuel counted the number of animal feet he saw. He tallied the feet of 14 elephants, 18 peacocks, and 13 rhinoceros. How many feet did he count all together?
