Part Two:  Students will use the information collected on the reading log and complete a Flipgrid video giving a book review of the books they are reading from their reading log.  These may be completed as books are completed as books are read, which may not be weekly.  Book reviews will be shared with QR code for other students to view and interact with. To prep this activity, teacher will need to create a free Flipgrid account at http://www.flipgrid.com and create a grid entitled "Book Reviews".  Students will then need to be shown how to access the grid to create their video reviews.  This can be a center in the classroom that students can do as they are ready to complete reviews.  Activity can be differentiated for students by requiring more/fewer reviews based on ability to read.  ELL Students can complete videos using dual language skills.  A sample script is provided to help students become accustomed to organizing their thoughts for video and for practice when they first begin doing video book reviews.
