#GoOpenNC has three main opportunities to interact with the resources on the platform.

Find/Use Existing Resources

Utilize media coordinators, ITF as point persons to introduce #GoOpenNCAttend breakout sessions at the CMS symposium, Canvas course and online discussions in the Google group.

Collect/Curate Resources and Collections

Create a Canvas course with screen casts and the like to be self-supporting which we will investigate digital learning competency credit.Begin planning and creating units or revise existing units.

Create/Upload Resources

Create original units and/or remix materials to earn digital learning competency credits.Create/upload resources. Media coordinators collaborate with teachers to create the units or support teachers creating units.




2) Engaging with Platform - The HOW:

#GoOpenNC has three main ways to participate on the platform

Participate in district PD (ie. CMS Symposium sessions, MEGA day)





District PD, online Canvas course, combine with copyright,fair use, digital citizenship for students, teachers & principals.

Network and Collaborate with Other NC Educators

Network and collaborate with media coordinators, ITF and outside districts.







Utilize the "Groups" feature to encourage collaborate with professionals within their same capacity.





3) Engaging the Educators - The WHO:

#GoOpenNC has opportunities for all educators to being engaging. Consider who would be your main early engagers in the next 6 months.
