1) Engaging with Resources - The WHAT:
#GoOpenNC has three main opportunities to interact with the resources on the platform.

Find/Use Existing Resources | To become familiar with the resource and what it actually is. | Teachers are trying to use the resource to find high-quality lessons and resources weekly for their classrooms. |
Collect/Curate Resources and Collections | How to search and find resources. | Star educators could add a resource. |
Create/Upload Resources | One vetted resource from each PLC that is high quality and to share. | That each individual from the PLC has created a resource for sharing 1 to 2 resources to share monthly. |
2) Engaging with Platform - The HOW:
#GoOpenNC has three main ways to participate on the platform
#GoOpenNC Initiative | What would be your vision for HOW your educators would participate on the platform in the next 6 months? |
Share/Evaluate Resources | As a PLC we would share together and vet as a team. Learn to search and find from the database platform. |
Participate in Professional Learning locally or statewide | We will work weekly to continue planning and developing high-quality resources and share over common grade level PLCs through groups. |
Network and Collaborate with Other NC Educators | Finding and using resources shared for CC by other districts and remixing as needed. |
3) Engaging the Educators - The WHO:
#GoOpenNC has opportunities for all educators to being engaging. Consider who would be your main early engagers in the next 6 months.

As #GoOpenNC plans to be teacher-facing by August, what would be your plans for engaging your desired educators in doing the WHAT and the HOW?

NCDPI and ISKME can provide support for the ways you are planning to Build the #GoOpenNC Community within your area.
