Remix_GCPS_#GoOpenNC Community Building Next Steps
Granville County Public Schools
The WHY:
- opportunity to consolidate all teaching and learning resources for teachers and students into a single repository
- teacher access to quality, accurate instructional resources
- prevent "reinvention of the wheel"
- rating capability
- quality assurance (vs. TPT)
- ability to better understand instructional resources used in GCPS classrooms
PRE-STEPS:
- Meet as a joint team between C&I and Technology to determine if GoOpenNC is a priority for 2019-2020.
- Train a subset of these departments in the basics of GoOpenNC features and capabilities.
- Put out a request of interested district-wide volunteers to become leaders of this initiative (would tell us level of interest). Write up for PD credit.
