#GoOpenNC Community Building Next Steps

#GoOpenNC has three main opportunities to interact with the resources on the platform.

Level of Engagement	What would be your vision for WHAT your educators would do in the next 6 months?	What would be your vision for WHAT your educators would do in the next 18 months?
Find/Use Existing Resources	Explore existing resources to find those that would assist in enhancing instruction	Use existing resources to enhance instruction
Collect/Curate Resources and Collections	Begin with grade level or departmental leaders to collect resources and collections appropriate for each individual school in our district	Expand this to include all teachers.
Create/Upload Resources	Begin with grade level or departmental leaders to create resources and lessons to upload appropriate for each individual school in our district	Expand this to include all teachers.

#GoOpenNC has three main ways to participate on the platform.

Share/Evaluate Resources	Lead team will evaluate and rate resources in the platform	Teachers will evaluate and rate resources in the platform
Participate in Professional Learning locally or statewide	Group that went to training on May 8 will meet with and train grade level and department leaders.	Grade level and department leaders will train their teachers.
Network and Collaborate with Other NC Educators	Investigate groups/hubs to see how they could be used for our schools/district	Create a group to begin the collaboration process

#GoOpenNC has opportunities for all educators to being engaging. Consider who would be your main early engagers in the next 6 months.

As #GoOpenNC plans to be teacher-facing by August, what would be your plans for engaging your desired educators in doing the WHAT and the HOW?
