This activity will serve as a review surface area activity. Specifically, the students will explore what happens to the surface area of a three-dimensional wooden rubik cube if it is broken down into smaller pieces or smaller cubes. Cooperative learning groups and hands-on wooden cubes will be used to accommodate the various learning styles.
