    About this Activity

In this activity, students are given a series of two-sided equations to solve. Multiple answer choices are provided for each equation. If a student attempts to guess the correct answer without actually solving the problem, .25 points are taken away from the final score. For most equations, there are four wrong answers and only one correct answer. If a student were to guess all four wrong answers first, the student would lose 1 whole point for that problem. As students solve each equation correctly and choose the right answer, a simulation of a maze interactive is displayed. Once students have navigated through the entire maze activity, they are presented with a results slide where they are given directions on how to take a screenshot to save their results report.

    Accessibility

Most of the equations have been added using plain text. In some instances, the equations had to be added as images due to the lack of math text formatting that is available through the software that was used to create the interactive. In those instances, alternative text has been provided for the equations that had to be added as images. Most screen reading technology should be able to navigate through this interactive maze game.
