    Library Story Book

NCDPI Essential Standards Information and Technology

HS.TT.1 -- Use technology and other resources for assigned tasks

HS.SE.T -- Analyze issues and practices of responsible behavior when using resources

Students will use the knowledge from previous lessons about book genres, copyright, grade level literature,  and using the internet to search for open use images and materials.

Using Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides, create a fictional story book about our school library! --Your audience will be grades K-2!

--Use your imagination! It can be an ABC book, a counting book, a story about a librarian (The Librarian from the Black Lagoon – Have you ever heard of this?)  You can search the internet for examples but please be mindful that you can use an idea but not actually material from an existing book.

--The first page will be the cover

-- Page 2 will be the title page

--The book needs to be at least 10 pages long and must have pictures!(remember what we discussed about copyright and how to get free use images)

-- Save your completed book be prepared to share it with your classmates and teacher.
