Description

Overview:
Students will listen to The King’s Commissioners by Aileen Friedman.  They will answer questions about the story and discuss. Then each student will create a drawing to show which counting method is most valuable or efficient for a real-world counting situation.  Students will take turns presenting their opinions. This lesson was developed by NCDPI as part of the Academically and/or Intellectually Gifted Instructional Resources Project. This lesson plan has been vetted at the state level for standards alignment, AIG focus, and content accuracy.
