"Self-Assessment Progress Report" Apply & Reflect

Apply & Reflect activity from the PD Booklet (Page 22), that focuses on the Self-Assessment Progress Report Component. Now that you have explored the component, reflect on the following questions:

  • How do you incorporate self-assessment at the end of a lesson or a unit for students to reflect on their language goals?
  • How does this Biography component help your students identify the language domains they need to focus on for improvement?

Students can self-assess themselves on their progress and/or completion of the learning targets to reflect on their language goals. This goal setting promotes metacognition and autonomy!
