I am a 5th grade math teacher and this resource is an informational document which outlines the different standards, resources and activities that teachers can use as a guide to identify the units that should be covered in this cluster. The cluster is fully aligned to depth and breadth of standards 5. NBT.7 This cluster is specifically guiding teachers by including the learning objective: Using Models to Add and Subtract Decimals and Fractions Content Standards: This resource includes standards that will be covered in this cluster. The standards listed are ongoing and so no specific assessments were identified, however the resource listed several key indicators that can be used to determine whether students are grasping the concepts in each cluster.
Strengths: Very detailed and user friendly. This resource was specifically designed as a guide for teachers. This resource may want to emphasize that teachers can integrate technology, other manipulatives as well as designing activities so that students can work in collaborative groups.
