I am a fifth grade teacher who works with an EC inclusion class and I appreciate that this task is simplified for their easy understanding using only the pictorial representation; however, it is not significant enough for my higher level students.* Partial alignment by covering on the explain part of the standard and should be considered as part of a unity that would address the complete standard. * Has clear learning objectives that are achievable through completion of this among other resources. * No assessment strategies have been indicated in the resource, so users should plan to add some type of assessment. * Strengths are that the task shows a clear visual representation of the information and that it can be completed in an oral discussion. * Opportunities include the ability to remix with other tasks to provide a more complete representation of the standard.
