Part APlace BLM Drawing and Building Shapes in front of student.

  1. Say: Please draw a triangle in the box that says “triangle”.

(Point to the box as students are not expected to read shape names)

  1. Say: Please draw a rectangle in this box that says “rectangle”.

(Point to the box)

  1. Say: Please draw a circle in the box that says “circle“

(Point to the box)

  1. Say: Please draw a hexagon in the box that says “hexagon”  

(Point to the box)

Part BProvide student with clay.

  1. Say: Use the clay.  Build a cube.
