Students will create a travel brochure for either their home town or a city they would love to visit or move to as soon as possible. This activity will help them learn to research and document information in appropriate spaces.

In this lesson, students will take a trip back in time and look at the lifestyles and classes of people in the late 1800s. Using a WedQuest, text, and graphic organizers, students will learn about the class systems in the 1800s and how the use of symbolism increased the point of interest within the story.

This lesson will provide students with the background information needed to correctly identify the eight parts of speech. It will also help provide them with the information needed to use them correctly.

Students will learn about characters and their traits. Using graphic organizers and video clips, students will be able to determine character traits and the main idea of a text.
