The purpose of this activity is to increase spontaneous language in a low anxiety environment. Students will explore their surroundings and find small objects to identify. Then they will use an alphabet chart to identity the first sound.Then they will use an alphabet chart to identity the first sound and match it to the corresponding letter/s. Students will use color words to describe the physical appearance of the object.
