In this interactive game, students fill in the missing operations to make the mathematical expression true. Each game consists of 4 expressions. For each expression, the objective is to pick the correct operators as quickly as possible.
To choose an operator, simply click the appropriate symbol from the input panel. Operators must be entered from left to right, but calculations are done according to the correct order of operations. Incorrect answers are not accepted and a 15 second penalty is added to your time.
In this interactive game, students are challenged to count, compare, and express how many more or less when presented with numerical data in picture format.
Kakooma is an interactive math puzzle game where students are challenged to search within a group of numbers to find the number that is the sum of two others (or the product of two others in the multiplication level.) To solve a single puzzle, students often end up doing dozens of calculations in their head, sometimes more than a hundred! This is a great game for practicing addition and/or multiplication fluency.
In this interactive resource, students subitize objects to find two numbers, and then use simple addition to find and match the number represented numerically.
This website resource is a word problem generator that can be used by teachers or students to create fully customizable problems. Complete with hints, part-whole models, tape diagrams, error checking and more! Single questions or a list of questions that meet the criteria entered can be printed, as well.
