Educational Use
This is an article explaining a number sense activity that utilizes the book "Room on the Broom". The activity uses number-valued animal cards to allow students to follow the story and explore the decomposition of numbers into equal or unequal parts (and compose back to a whole), and compare sets using the attribute of numerosity.
