Students will explain the influence of the target culture perspectives on products and practices. Students will learn that magic realism is a literary style that became popular in the Latin-American literature. It is characterized by the inclusion of fantastic elements in realistic fiction. Prominent among the Latin-American magic realists are the Colombian Gabriel Garcia Marquez, the Mexican Laura Esquivel and the Argentines Jorge Luis Borges and Julio Cortazar, and the Chilean Isabel Allende.
