Overview:
Teachers work hard and need to take time to take care of themselves. Here are two weeks of simple activities designed to shift your mental framework and help you respond more skillfully to difficult situations. Taking care of your own mental health helps you create a safe and welcoming environment for your students, and may help keep you from burning out. (Could be adapted for student use.)Remix: The original Two Weeks of Positivity lesson format needs options and choice to be effective for everyone. The videos, music choices, relaxation activities, adventures, and suggested solutions must be diverse and relevant to the African American and Hispanic population.

This is a valuable source of mindful activities. It offers many options that are appropriate and purposeful. It can be adapted to any age, even useful for staff and other adults. The self-care of calming, listening to music, among other interactive activities is relevant at this time.
