Country Population Chart Creation and Comparison

Overview

Students will use the CIA World Fact Book to collect data about 6 countries into a spreadsheet. They will use this data to create charts to help show the differences in countries. Students will work with partners to brainstorm why these countries have these differences. 

Population Chart Comparison

1. Choose One Country from each Continent.

 

Include with every country a picture of their capital city, two pictures of the countries environment, and a picture of their flag.

 

2. For the six countries that you have chosen please record the following data into a spreadsheet.

3) After your research, select two countries with the most differences and try to figure out with your B buddy why there are so many differences between the two countries.
