*I am an elementary SLMC, but I feel this lesson could be adapted easily for upper elementary students.
*Full integration of one or more information literacy strategies with subject content
*Collaboration between SLMC & teachers can be added
*Strengths: creating a product that includes student choice, encourages interaction between grade levels.
*SLMC could share a variety of storybooks with the students to help with a lack of prior knowledge. Basic Google skills are needed. Student choice is very evident. Students are given freedom in the creative process by creating their story and designing the cover, title page and illustrating the book throughout.
