This is a PBL project that focuses on whether or not students believe banning books in their own curriculum is justified. The students will receive a review on a banned book and will then take that stance to defend the review.

Students will receive a choice board of different activities and will have to choose one. After choosing their activity, students can be placed into small groups to work collaboratively or can work independently. Each team/student will be presenting to either the whole class or their small group.

Birth of a Colony explores the history of North Carolina from the time of European exploration through the Tuscarora War. Presented in five acts, the video combines primary sources and expert commentary to bring this period of our history to life. The final segment of Birth of a Colony discusses the Tuscarora War, the Barnwell Expedition, and the Moore Expedition. This is an online version of the book "The History of Costume" by Braun & Schneider published from 1861-1880. This online version includes all 125 original plates and is an excellent resource of historical dress from antiquity to the end of the 19th century.
