These slides are used to introduce Ozobot to Kindergarten to use science motion vocabulary and explore robotics in the real world. Students explore how Ozobots use light and color sensors to "read" the information in order to move. This is a launching point for further lessons on how to color "code" the types of movement. Ozobot makes two robots called Evo and Bit that teach children basic programming skills. The Ozobot can identify lines, colors, and codes on both digital surfaces, such as an iPad, and physical surfaces, such as paper.

Ecosystems

In this series of lessons, students will learn about ecosystems. In the first lesson, students will explore the different types of ecosystems and the structures and functions that are inherent in each one. In the second lesson, students will examine challenges to ecosystems, both man-made and natural issues. In the third lesson, students will learn about food webs and trophic levels. In the final lesson, students will apply their knowledge to construct a board game to teach others about ecosystems.
