About me

Hi I'm Heather (she/her/hers).
I am an "overly-licensed" educator who lives in Monroe, NC. I currently hold 4 teaching licenses (Special Education Mild/Moderate Disabilities K-12, Elementary Education K-6, Language Arts 7-9, and Biology 9-12). I currently teach middle school resource (EC) ELA for UCPS as well as high school OCS Biology for NCVPS.

I am originally from Connecticut although I lived in Charlotte and attended schools in CMS from 3-8 grades, then returned to Connecticut for high school and then returned to UNC Greensboro for my undergrad where I Dual-majored in Elementary and Special Education. At UNCG I found my passion for inclusion and inclusive-education. I live for an "a-ha!" moment!
