About me

Hello, I have been teaching for 6 years in Durham, NC. I spent my first 5 years teaching Kindergarten. I taught 1st grade for the 2019-2020 school year.

I am a dedicated teacher who is committed to the social and academic growth and development of all my students. I strive to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging for every student.

I have studied and used Responsive Classroom techniques, along with implementing creative uses of technology to promote a caring, fun, and engaging learning environment.

I am interested in learning and collaborating with CTE teachers to create lessons using technology to improve student learning and achievement.
