About me

I like the outdoors, fitness, and sports. I like freedom most of all. I once wrote an easy on "What Freedom Means to Me" and won the essay contest I entered.

I achieved my dream job of PE teacher a year ago despite the fact that I have suffered a number of injuries in the past 3 years which have made enjoying my old favorite hobbies tough and participating in the things I love more of a challenge. Two hip surgeries last year, but back on my feet again and walking thankfully. I cannot run, jump, lift like I once did but I can still walk 3 miles though the woods with my best furry friend on my favorite trails.

I came here to earn tech CEUs because I struggle with earning them. Technology is not my thing typically. I prefer the outdoors. I like to get away from screens and get outside and do hobbies in my free time.

I hope we go back to school in the fall so I can be with my Boy's CC team and my Girls soccer team. I enjoy that part of my job the most. They are good kids with a sense of humor, and I have an awesome co-coach and an awesome assistant coach. I was disappointed when a virus pulled the rug out from under our season. I want to get back on the course, track, and back on the pitch. Falcons Rise!
