About me

As a life-long learner, I was drawn to find out what Open NC has to offer. I started my educational career as a music teacher in classroom and orchestra settings. I left education and had a 15-year stint in computers. Then I returned to public school teaching and taught computers and music. Again I left education and became an RN and worked in hospice for 5 years before returning to education and teaching Health Science. I am in my 4th year of teaching Health Science and plan to remain in teaching until I can no longer function. I think the third time will be a charm. I love to teach. I learn and want to share it. I love people and want to impart a love of learning to my students.
