School Counselor

I have been a High School counselor for four years, and my passion for students grows daily. What ultimately drew me to the field of school counseling was the desire to build relationships with students that were not driven by curriculum. As a school counselor, I have a front row seat to my students’ successes and challenges. I am able to advocate for them and watch them grow into confident young adults which is the best part of the job.

Interests: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Multicultural Issues, Special Education,
