I have taught World History for the past 10 years in Charlotte, NC. I have also taught AP Human Geography, Civics & Economics, Sociology, and Psychology. Freshmen and World History are my passion! I am interested in #GoOpenNC because I am committed to equity across my district, our state, and our country. I love sharing and receiving resources that will make a difference in my students' lives and help them see themselves in our content. Outside of teaching, I love to read, cook, garden, hike, and run (I'm slower than a turtle in peanut butter!). I volunteer with Lancaster County Democratic Women's Council and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.
