As a Head Start teacher who has spent time observing in kindergarten and first grade classrooms during "learning walks," this activity looks great! I have seen a similar activity completed with kindergarten students in the latter half of the school year. It would also work well with first grade students as intended. It has full alignment to depth and breadth of the standards tagged. I did not see any learning objectives indicated in this resource. No assessment strategies have been indicated in the resource, so users should plan to add some type of assessment. It has a purposeful use of technology by encouraging students to scan QR codes and the content is accurate. I would like to see this instruction become more engaging.
