Forces and Motion Listening Activity

I recommend this resource as a follow-up/extension to the Forces and Motion Unit your class is already working on during science block. It is a good way to incorporate the science curriculum into your literacy instruction.

This resource would probably be most helpful to use during literacy centers or independent work time. Students can listen to the 'playlist' of books on an iPad and then respond to questions about one of the stories. To listen to the 'playlist' students will need to scan the QR code provided in the resource on an iPad using a QR Code Reader App. Then you can choose to have students listen to one, multiple, or all of the stories on the 'playlist.'

After students listen to the stories they will write down 3 facts they learned about forces and motion. You can choose to collect this paper as an assessment or have students share the facts with one another and discuss new facts students learned as a class.
