Grade 3: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle...Oh My! - A Problem on Place Value and Rounding
Case Overview
In “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle...Oh My!”, students will the designer and creator of a flyer on recycling. They will learn about rounding to the nearest 10 or 100. They will be working with numbers as they determine how many reams of paper they need to use to make the flyer. Students will produce a flyer on recycling.
