In this interactive math game, students will click on the fraction and match it to the model fraction that appears on the screen. They can choose fast or slow mode. Once students complete the level they can choose another level to play.

In this lesson, students will explore angles, rays, line segments, perpendicular lines, parallel lines, and two-dimensional figures through the use of the book “Shape Up! Fun with Triangles and Other Polygons” by David A. Adler. They will also classify quadrilaterals through an interactive website.

This task presents students with some creative geometric ways to represent the fraction one half. The goal is both to appeal to students' visual intuition while also providing a hands on activity to decide whether or not two areas are equal.

Students build hexagons which represent 1 whole by joining fractions and their equivalence. 

In this lesson, students are identifying fractions in their environment. It is suggested that this lesson is done at the beginning of the fraction unit.

In this lesson students interpret fractions in which the denominator describes the number of equal parts and the numerator describes how many of those parts one has. They are also introduced to naming equivalent fractions by dividing a circle.
