Sample Learning Goals
Determine which mutations are favored by the selection agents of predators and food variety and which mutations are neutral.
Describe which traits change the survivability of an organism in different environments.
Experiment with environments which produce a stable population of bunnies, a population that dies out, and a population that takes over the world.
Track genes through multiple generations.
Compare how dominant and recessive genes get passed onto offspring.

This is a remix of an existing resource - https://goopennc.oercommons.org/courses/lab-activity-report-human-traits-punnett-squares. It was created by New York Science Teacher. I remixed it because there were inaccuracies about the original content (eye color is not simple dominant/recessive) and there was family-based bias in the original resource.  I made changes to focus on PTC tasting, because it is much closer to being simple dominant/recessive. The remixed resource directly addresses that even PTC tasting is not fully dominant/recessive any more.
