Learning Tasks and Practice

For this lesson, students will present information that they have learned through research to the class to teach them about their country of study. Before students start their presentations, the teacher will need to review the expectations with students on what should be taking place while other students are presenting.  While students are presenting their presentations, their peers will be evaluating them.  Students will be prepared for their presentations and be prepared to answer questions that their peers may have.  At the end of the Unit, students will complete the Self-Reflection sheet.  It will be submitted to the teacher.  The teacher will use the same self-reflection that students use and reflect upon the students feedback to change or enhance the project in the future.

Technological Engagement

Students will share their PowerPoints and travel logs, using the Interactive Whiteboard that were created using digital media to the class.

If students do not have access to technology, they will share their poster and read entries from their travel log.

Collecting and Documenting Evidence of Learning

The presentations that students present will serve as their collection and documentation of evidence of learning.
