    Learning Targets and Criteria for Success

    Students will explore the web and recreate an international recipe at home.


    Learning Tasks and Practice

    • Students will log onto http://www.easy-kids-recipes.com/international-recipes.html and click on a country.
    • Students will scroll through and choose a recipe to make.
    • Students will write down the ingredients and the directions on how to make the food.
    • Students will have 1 week to cook the meal at home. Students must take pictures to show documentation and write a reflection on how their international cooking experience went.

    Collecting and Documenting Evidence of Learning

    They will answer the following questions…

    ·        What country did you choose and why?

    ·        What was the name of your dish?

    ·        Who helped you create the recipe?

    ·        How did the recipe come out?

    ·        Was it hard or easy to make?

    ·        What ingredients did you need?

    ·        Would you make it again?

    ·        Was it a healthy or unhealthy meal option?

    ·        What was your overall opinion on this lesson.
