*I am a fifth grade teacher and have taught third grade in the past. I appreciated that it was a short assessment with lots of depth and complexity. * Partial alignment by covering most parts of standard (did not see evidence of expanded form being used, although students may use that approach in their responses) and should be considered as part of a unit that would address the whole standard * Has clear learning objectives that are achievable through completion of this resource. *Has clear assessment strategies that will accurately measure student progress or mastery of the specified standards, but needs additional summative strategies * This resource is user-friendly and the content is appropriate for third graders. *The task could include a table of expected explanations of strategies that students might give. This might be where the expanded form shows up in the task.
