I really appreciated the use of the shape robots in this lesson. This lesson has full alignment to depth and breadth of standard tagged. I can see that the lesson has clear learning objectives. The lesson is introductory with informal assessment suggestions. The instructional purpose and alignment with the North Carolina curricular standard is explicitly stated or easily inferred, and students are engaged in an activity that promotes critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. This resource may want to include a quick individual check of the students personal understanding of positional words.
