I am a third grade teacher and I appreciate this resource for its level of engagement and relevance to students. Students will be excited to poll their classmates in order to collect their own data.
Partial alignment by covering only the collecting data and bar graph parts of standard and should be considered as part of a unit that would address the standard.
Has clear learning objectives that are achievable through completion of this resource.
Has some assessment strategies that will measure student progress toward the specified standards, but needs additional formative and summative strategies.
This resource is extremely engaging for students as they will be allowed to connect to a situation and collect data about a topic of their choice. It is also accurate and free from errors.
This resource might benefit from a simple formative assessment, such as an exit ticket, so that the teacher could evaluate how much of the partner work each individual student understood.
