The Trading Card tool gives students an alternative way to demonstrate their literacy knowledge and skill when writing about popular culture texts or real world examples. This interactive allows students to create their own trading card about a real or fictional person, place, object, event, or abstract concept.

Students will learn about algorithms and how to create and follow step-by-step instructions when going through the code.org lessons.

Epic has over 25,000 books, videos and quizzes for students. Elementary teachers are able to sign up for a free account and use the Epic library with their students. Students will learn how to navigate a digital library and use appropriate tools to aid in their reading. In this activity, students will be introduced to fables and will use Microsoft Paint or Google Drawings to illustrate the moral of the story.

Students love to express themselves with images and videos. As we know there are a plethora of images and video readily available on the Internet for use in remixing other materials to create something new. Students can use public domain images and videos to remix for an assigned school project.

Visnos is an interactive math website that provides many different math tools to allow teachers to show math visually and allow students to explore with the tools.Visnos can be used with grades one-five as there are activities for telling time, fractions, multiplication tables, subtraction facts, angles, measurement using a protractor.

Students will create a short screencast that helps present a local or global issue to a wider audience. The screencast will include a voiced narration presenting an idea on how to solve the issue and requesting ideas in return. After considering the feedback received students will create a new screencast to present the ideas.

Wonderopolis is a free informational site that asks and answers interesting questions about the world. Wonders of the Day questions are posted daily, and each is designed to get kids to think, talk, and find learning moments in everyday life.

In first grade, students will start learning basic keyboarding and word processing skills. Students should be able to take their weekly spelling words and create two-three sentences as well as add provided images

Students will obtain multiple viewpoints on the issue of bullying and brainstorm possible solutions, with peers, educators, and parents, via video-conferencing.

Would You Rather Math is a website that contains fun math challenges that students can solve. A picture is presented with a math task and a question that begins with, Would you rather?”. A worksheet is available for problem-solving. Students justify their answer with mathematics. This is a perfect website for math centers and can be used at different grade levels other than 4th. Can be used at 3rd grade on up depending on the skill level of the students.
