In this videoclip in Spanish, a graduate student, Maria, tells her plans for what she hopes to be doing in ten years. This is recorded for the University of Texas’ Spanish Proficiency Exercises. Students of Spanish can read the transcript in Spanish, read a translation in English or listen without a transcript to reference. There are also links to relevant vocabulary, grammar and podcasts. In addition to providing listening comprehension practice, one objective of the exercises is to provide students of Spanish with the necessary tools to be able to talk about the same topics in Spanish.
