I really appreciated this lesson and the way it teaches students to work together. This lesson has full alignment to depth and breadth of standard tagged. I can see that the lesson has clear learning objectives. The lesson is introductory with informal assessment suggestions. The instructional purpose and alignment with the North Carolina curricular standard is explicitly stated and easily inferred, and students are engaged in an activity that promotes critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. Another strength is the question and answer diagram boxes for helping Kindergartners learn to work together.
