Organizing career information can be a challenge. Watch this program to gain perspective on career choices and linking them to personality types in order to find a satisfying career.

Students will read each statement and select the statements that are true about themselves. The responses will be used to generate a list of careers in the student's top two or three career clusters.

This series will help students consider what they like to do, where their interests and skills connect, and ultimately what career path they may want to take.

This resource is designed to assist students in exploration of professional occupations as part of the Occupational Preparation coursework.  Students will use this form to research a occupation that is being reviewed as a group for the week.  On Monday, they will be introduced to the occupation/profession, and review their exsting knowledge of the profession.  On Tuesday, wthy will begin drafting their research questions about the profession, and will spend Wednesday and Thursday researching the profession..  On Friday, as a group they will interview a representative of that profession, and will then complete a  summary activity about the intervew and the occupation.

Students will expand their views of personal interests and learn how those interests are related to career success and job satisfaction. Students will complete the Interest Profiler assessment and have the opportunity to see how their results match a career.

Students will understand the importance of skills in school and in the workplace.

Students need exposures to careers that interest them.  This activity provides them time to form their own concepts and ideas reguarding jobs that interest them.  They can be given help as needed, but the finished product will be all theirs.
