This is a hyperDoc that covers Ecosystems. It takes several days to complete this and has links to several different assignments. The hyperDoc follows the 5E Lesson plan format. There are several videos to watch, vocabulary, drag and drops, partner work, and a final group project. Because this is a digital resource, the students will need to have access to a device.

Teachers, you will also need to set up a Padlet and a Flipgrid prior to assigning this. Once you have them, you will need to link them on the appropriate slide. The second slide will remind you of this.

This was created in Google Slides, but I had to download it as a Powerpoint in order to upload it. I would suggest using it in Google Slides.

Students seek and provide feedback from classmates using the Comments feature within Google Docs or Slides. Students will then revise their writing and/or presentation based on the feedback received.

Students will use Google Slides to play a Guess Who game. The teacher will share one Google Slide presentation to all students. Each student will create one slide, and type two sentences describing themselves on that slide. Students will then be given a slide number randomly, they will have to guess who that person is.

Children love to tell stories. They will make up something that happened to them just to be able to tell a story. In this lesson students will take a story they have written and publish it using Google Slides or PowerPoint. They will be able to insert pictures and speech bubbles to make their story come to life for their audience.

The first thing a child usually looks at when choosing a book to read is the cover. Many great stories do not get read because the cover does not initiate curiosity in the child. In addition, students tend to enjoy reading more when they have a purpose and can take ownership of their learning. In this lesson students will be presented with a real problem to solve. They will read a text and design a new book cover to show their comprehension and thoughts about the text.
