*I like how this provides differentiation in a visual way. As a third grade teacher I see the importance and purpose of this particular standard. Students are encouraged to use different strategies to reason through the word problem.
*This is something manageable to implement in small groups for reteaching and for enrichment. I think this is partial aligning to the standard NC.3.OA.1 For products of whole numbers with two factors up to and including 10. We are interpreting the factors as representing the number of equal groups and the number of objects in each group.
*This resource has defined learning targets for students to represent and interpret arrays. The targets are clear learning objectives that are achievable through completion of this resource
*Has clear learning objectives that are achievable through completion of this resource. This resource provides intervention tasks and directions to help those struggling. There is a clear action plan for reteaching.
*This resource is user friendly and easy to navigate.
*I believe that this resource could provide more examples and teaching of how to represent equations prior to the differentiation.
