Students will be showing their knowledge of the alphabet and letter sounds as they move around their classroom or school taking pictures of different items they find.

The free version allows students to create accounts and provides access to a host of options to customize any project in a highly engaging fashion. Students will use nearly identical skills needed to create a Powerpoint or Google Slideshow with the addition of learning how to use a timeline to add or remove objects in the video.

QR codes are everywhere! So what are they all about? Students will be able to create a QR code to share a digital artifact with parents, students and teachers.

Read Theory is an online tool that offers reading activities for all levels. It will adapt to the student’s individual lexile level. It provides a plethora of articles with skill building exercises. It provides data on each student.

Use Epic to guide students to learn what a biography is, and have them find information about a specific person.

Students will generate questions regarding a given topic and then research that topic using a kid-friendly search engine. Students will utilize information obtained during their search, in order to create a shared presentation.

The best way to learn something is to repeat, retell and teach something to others. Students will learn about events in history. They can be scientific or historical events. Students may read about them in a history book or even in a book of historical fiction.
